Falcon 2000 Portable Thermoplastics Spraying System
The Falcon 2000 system is designed for thermoplastic powder to be supplied from a hopper at atmospheric pressure to a single applicator. This equipment can be used with all field applied thermoplastic powders.
The System Consists Of Four Segments
- Portable Wheeled Cart Unit With 10 Lb Hopper And Venturi
- 4” Or 2” Applicators Gun With Fuel Control And Powder Actuator
- 25' Feed Hose (Powder, Fuel, And Air)
- 2 Pressure Regulators Attached To Applicator Belt (Powder And Fuel)
Brief Procdueres
- Powder is placed in the hopper
- Air is supplied to unit @ 80 psi and 15-18 cfm
- Propane is supplied @ 10-15 psi
- Applicator ignites gun and adjusts fuel air mixture according to substrate thickness and desired preheat application temperature.
- Once preheat temperature is achieved, powder is actuated at the gun, and flow rate adjusted to applicators satisfaction.
