Our coatings group has established a strong reputation for bidding, undertaking and effectively executing the most demanding and/or high risk jobs in our industry today. KPC enjoys the lowest WCB rate in the field, due to our comprehensive and enforced safe work program.

Our quality assurance and control program is founded on SSPC-QP demands, is effective, and provides real data for our customers, both, in evaluating job execution during the contract and coating performance well into the future.

KPC strives to work on behalf of customers that understand the value of coatings and demand excellence. Our group tends to shy away from those companies or representatives who consider coating work only a necessary evil.

KPC is a bonded union contractor with a repeat customer group including: ABB, BC Ferries, BC Hydro, BC Department of Highways and Bridges, GE Hydro, Martech Electrical Group, Neptune Bulk Terminals, Pope and Talbot, Teck Cominco, Terasen, Zellstoff Celgar to identify a handful. Letters of reference are readily available.

KPC staff includes, a Certified Construction Safety Officer, NACE Certified Inspector, Certified Industrial Coating Inspectors, and SSPC trained coating specialists. As well, KPC brings 100's of years, in combined on the job coating expertise in the following applications: concrete coating; steel painting, coating, and linings; heavy equipment painting; plural component coating application; pipe line coating; lead based paint removal; ultra high pressure water jetting and abrasive media blasting.
