Shut Down Work For Neptune Terminals

Neptune terminals of North Vancouver BC has contracted KPC to reline the interior tripod legs of the coal stacker-reclaimer. Interior zones within the legs have experienced significant metal loss due to pack rust and on going corrosion of the metal. This work will be executed under confined space regulation. On completion of the relining, KPC will abrasive blast and recoat the external walls of the legs as a first step in reconditioning the full exterior of the machine. All work must be executed within the scheduled 6 day shut down for October 05.
